The Road to Christmas: a musical journey from Advent to Epiphany

Join us for an evocative choral excursion through the Christmas story, featuring the music of Jonathan Dove, Vaughan Williams, Britten, Tavener, Kodaly and many more … with a few mince pies and some mulled wine for the road.

Our Christmas journey begins with the heightened expectations of Advent—the wondrous music of this season is often overlooked in the mad rush of shopping and carol concerts—then takes us through the Nativity story by way of a few familiar and not so familiar carols, before leading us into a musical Epiphany.

Tickets cost £15 (£12 concessions, £5 students and under 18s), and are available from Tickets Oxford or from the Oxford Playhouse (01865 305305). You can buy them now from members of the choir in advance, or on the door if there are any left ... we hope to see you there!
