The Passing of the Year

The title of this exciting programme comes from Jonathan Dove’s outstanding cycle for chamber choir and virtuoso pianist: The Passing of the Year.  Dove brings music to the words of William Blake, Emily Dickinson, George Peele, Thomas Nash and Alfred, Lord Tennyson.  The programme will also include Vaughan Williams’ classic Five Mystical Songs, which set to music the poetic meditations of George Herbert.
